How can you help

What can students do?

Students can be Zero Waste South Windsor Ambassadors–they are responsible within their school to educate their peers on how to reduce plastic and food waste, and are responsible to educate family and friends to be conscious about plastic waste at home.

What can teachers do?

Teachers can integrate lesson plans into their curriculum that educate students about the detrimental effects of plastic waste on our environment, and brainstorm initiatives with students to eliminate food waste within their school.

What can community organizations and the public do?

Volunteer with ZWSW initiatives and be mindful of food waste in your homes.
